Devices and app updates
How many devices you can use, and what the update messages mean.
Device limit
Your account works on up to 3 devices at a time, or up to 10 on Premium. A device counts while it has been used in the last 72 hours.
When you open the app on one device too many, it shows Too many devices with how long until you can use it there, as the least recently used device drops out. Tap Try again to check again, or Sign out.
App updates
- Update available: a new version is ready. Tap Update, or Not now; the message shows once per version.
- Update required: this version is no longer supported. Update the app from the App Store or Google Play to continue.
- If something in an agreement needs a newer version of the app, it shows Update the app.
