What the person signing remotely sees
The steps a person goes through after opening your signing link.
The link opens in any browser, with no account or app. The steps are shown at the top of the page:
- Invitation: who invited them, the agreement’s title, your message, and when the link expires. Nothing is signed until they add their signature.
- Your details: their own form, with required fields marked. Errors are listed before they can continue.
- Review: the whole agreement with their details filled in, page by page, with zoom.
- Sign: they draw their signature with a finger, mouse, or trackpad and tap Sign.
- Done: a confirmation. When everyone has signed, they get an email with a link to download their signed copy as a PDF or images. The link works for 7 days.
Good to know
- The browser’s back and forward buttons move between steps without losing typed details.
- Leaving the page with unsaved details asks first. Nothing is saved before signing.
- Questions about the agreement itself go to you, the sender. For help with the signing page, people can use Contact us at the bottom of the page.
